Easy Like Sunday: Pritty Lites!
Heer are the Krissmiss lites my peeple put out yesturday.

Daddy hates being on the roof so thay keep all the lites close to the grownd. Last Krissmiss Daddy diddint put no lites outside becuz Mommy wuz in the hosspittul. Yoo mite say this yeer Mommy is doing Krissmiss twice as much to make up for it. But Daddy still wuzzint puttin no lites up on the roof!

When the nayburrs git thare displays up we will have at leest 7 houses in a row all dressed up for Krissmiss. And we haff Vishus Deer! But I unnerstand this one is jes pretend. It's ded and made of wire so yoo can see inside. Look, it has no stomach! Why wood it eet me if it has no place to put me?

My peeple are underachievers compared to Jeff Trykoski of Frisco, TX. He begins building his outdoor decorations in October!
The Trykoski home display is one of the most famous in all of North Texas. It's computer choreographed to music he broadcasts over a low power FM transmitter. People stop thare cars, tune in his radio channel and enjoy the show. You've seen other displays like his, I'm sure, but he's one of the more respected and known Christmas light designers in this country. (They even haff yeerly conferences!) A lot of his work is well known in those circles. If you click on the picture below it will show you a You Tube video of his award winning display from 2005.
I'm almost willing to go in the Shevvie to go and watch this year's show! He changes it a little evry yeer.
Dozens of cars go down the street to see his house. It's all free. His wife hands out candy canes and people hand him food to be donated to the local food bank. The teevee did a story about him and then the City of Frisco asked him to design a computer controlled choreographed light show at their new Frisco Skware project, anchored by the new city hall. This third yeer of Krissmiss in the Skware features about 200 thowsand lites. Almost a millyun peeple will come to see it.
And when those peeple toon in thare radios at the Trykoski house or Frisco Skware, they will heer my mommy and daddy reading announcements in between the songs. Thay are proud to haff helped a little.
If yoo would like to see a viddy-oh from last year's Frisco Skware display, Click here to go to You Tube.
PS. I know yoo are thinking "Gosh his electrick bill must be big". Thanks to the compooter the lites are not always ON. He sez his bill goes up less than 50 dollars. But between the thousands of peeple he makes happy with his work, the hundreds of pounds of food he collects for charity and the fact that it's led to his involvement with the city...not to mention how he just LOVES Krissmiss....that electric bill is a pretty big bargain.

Your house is very pretty. My Mommy and Daddy did the same thing yesterday (complete with the happy juice!) and I'm gonna' show some photos this week. I gotta' get going 'cause now one of the trees is going up and I can't miss climbing, er, ah watching!

We like your Christmas lights!! Our beans started putting stuff up outside today too but then it started snowing and they stopped. No tree yet for us inside...mom's afraid we'll climb it...we have done that in the past.
We're glad your vishus deer is just pretend...

We like your lights. Our humans don't usually put up many outside because they don't like the roof either.

Your lights are very pretty and I don't blame you for not going on the roof!
