Echo:  Sorry we havvint updatid yoo all on how Mommy and us are doin.  We bin a littel bizzy runnin a hosspittul.  Mommy got home last Saturday but izzint all heeled up yet. 

Tenny:  When Mommy came home, Echo diddint think it wuz reely her. 

Echo:  She diddint pass the smell test. 

Tenny:  Yoo is too suspishus.  I knew it wuz her the minit she sed "Hay Tennygurl". 

Echo:  A meezerboy kant be too kareful.  She wuz moovin reel slow and had a sucky thing that me and Tenny still dont unnerstand.  Yoo see, thare is this toob in her belly and its hooked up to this musheen that sucks bloods and wet icky stuff...

Tenny:  Grammy sez its a Woond Vack.  Mommy has a 25 inch insishun across her tummy that is packed with bandaids and foam and tape.  Thay did this becuz of the mesh thay used to fix her hernia.  The mesh is the best way to fix a hernia but it has a risk of infeckshun.  And since Mommy is prone to getting infeckshuns thay are beeing even more kareful. 

Echo:  So thay leeve in the Shevvie to go to the hosspittul every other day whare thay take out the bandaids and look inside to see if thare is any infeckshun. 

Tenny:  And thare has bin sum and thats whut is taking Mommy so long to feel bedder.  But it's not like last time when she had to haff more operayshuns.  The docktor has to kleen things out and do sumthing called "deebreedmint".  Thay hope that by the end of next week thay can take out the woond vack and stich Mommy closed.

Echo:  The docktors say she haz to walk a lot to help the heeling even if that makes her hurty.  I admit it skairs me to be around Mommy becuz I can sense her pain and pain skairs me.   She gits up from the bed and wanders around the house reel slow and klutching that sucky thing and making faycis and I jes try to ignorr her when she duz.   Dats whut Daddy and Grammy do.  When Mommy makes hurty noisis we all pretend not to heer her.  Maybe if we act like its not reel she will stop being hurty.

Tenny:  Ya know Echo, yur bedside manner sucks.  I wuz reel hurty too when my hernia got fixed and Mommy wuz so nice to me and got on the flore to talk to me when I wuz hiding under the bed.   If she had ignorred my hurties she woodint haff gotten me the meddasin to make me feel bedder.   So that's why this kitty is hangin with Mommy.  I know how she feels and I havvint left her alone since she got bak.

Echo:  But I also dont like that thing she is sleeping under.  Its called a tray tabil and its keeping me from walking on her to find a nice spot to cuddle like she thinks I'm gonna make her more hurty.   Grammy dont sleep under no tray tabil.  And Grammy haz pink sammon in a powch.  And fingernales to skratch my hed.

Tenny:  Wich is why Echo's hed smells like Grammys purrfoom.  

Echo:  Hay, bein nice to the Grammy is a smart thing to do. 

Tenny:  Skeezy wanted to know whare Mommy is gitting her lint now that her belly button is gone.  

Echo:  At first I thot of putting an add on Craigs List but then I got a good look at that sofah cushon Tenny is layin on.  Thare is a lifetime supply of kitty furs on it and evryone knows dats the best lint yoo can git.  So now me and Tenny is talkin bout goin into bizniss fur ourselfs like Rocky and Mao did on the Vishus Deer Repellent.  We kin start with yur basic wite and blak lint and shades of Meezer brown.  We will haffta outsource the other kullurs. 

Tenny:  Mommy mite not haff her belly button no more, but at leest her butt trumpet is bak.
