Tenny Toosday: Nashunul Day of Purrayers

Thursday Please Purray!

Its a sad thing when you know kitties are hurting.  Me and Echo are super lucky but not everykitty is as blessed as we are.  Life is frajill.  Any of us kood get sick at innytime.  Sum of our peeples haff challenges too.  And a lot of our human furrends are in dangerous playces doing what they feel is rite for our kuntree.

This Thursday sum relligis peeple want all the beeings to pray.  Now I dunno whut yur relligin is.  I think we all purray to the same God.  If yoo dont beeleeve in God maybe yoo beeleeve in the power of good feelins.

If bad feelins are contagis, then good feelings must be contagis too!

So if we're all focused on fixing things like wars...finding cures for sickness...reelayshunships to heel...proteckshun for our loved ones...even cheeper gas! then maybe, jes maybe we kood inflooince the Heavens, the universe and put some nice mojo all around us!
Purr...

So pick a reason or several, and meditate on 'em.  Thursday.

If I could make up a badge to share with other kitties I wood.  Maybe one of my vissiters will get creative.

I picked up this little reminder last nite.  Storm, a hansum and beautipuss meezer has had cancer reeturn.  The opshuns all look diffikult. This makes us vary sad.  My grammy had cancer. My grate grammy had cancer.  A man my humans worked with died from it.  Another one is battling lymphoma just like Storm.    My humans helped raze munnies for Reelay for Life.  If thay can make cancer bedder for peeple, then thay wood use that to help kitties too.  I'm gonna be purraying for that.  I'm gonna be purraying for Storm too.

Go Storm!!!  She's the furry fighter!

Praying is a very good thing. There are too many bad things in the world and we have to try to get good to overcome the bad things. I am very sad for Storm, and I pray that he will have a miracle.

Tenny, we will all make sure that we purr and purray very hard at our house for pawsitive outcomes for all the bad things going on around and the world and in people's and furries' lives. Thank you so much for the reminder! You also reminded us that my bean Uncle Sean is participating in Relay For Life next month. I am going to get mommy to let everyone know about it on my blog tomorrow - so thanks again for being so great!

I was very sad when I found out that Storm's lymphoma came back. But she is the Furry Fighter, so I hope she can fight it again. The Power of Purrs is very strong.

What a wise and lovely post, Tenny! We too believe that purrs, purrayers and postive thoughts are all of a kind and it's important to fill our hearts and minds with them. And we're joining you in doing just that for all our friends in need!
